Our aims are to provide a service to help those genuine individuals who desire to experience the myriad adventures Nepal has to offer, but do not want to pay exorbitant prices or leave the organisation of their holiday to chance once they arrive in the country. GA will-custom make the trip of a lifetime for such people according to their requirements and time limitations. Each itinerary is created for the interests and requirements of the visitors, while providing as much help, guidance and as one needs. We, at GA will look after your every need once you set foot in our country.

Meet our team!

Khil Thapa:
Founder and Owner Of Gurkha Adventures Khil has many years of experience in organizing adventure holidays in the Himalayas. Amongst his many credentials, he was a member of a team that summited Mt. Everest in the spring of 2006. Furthermore, he has taken part in many other expeditions in Nepal. He is also a map reading and jungle survival Instructor. This invaluable experience has allowed him to put together the best holiday packages in Nepal.

Deepak Shrestha:
Map Reading Instructor and Outdoor Leader Deepak is the most likeable individual one can ever hope to come across. He has many years of experience in outdoor activities and has led many successful trips for the bigger charity groups in both Corporate Team Building and Survival Courses. He is a rare specimen of humanity wonderful a sense of humor.

Govinda Rana: Rock Climbing Instructor Govinda is an extremely intelligent and thoughtful outdoor leader. He has many experiences with leading expeditions in Europe and the Himalayas. He is also a member of the British Mountaineering Association.

Khadka Gurung:
Survival course instructor and Outdoor Leader Khadka is another thoughtful and intelligent outdoor leader who has also led many expeditions in Nepal and Europe. He also swam across the English Channel for charity in 2005. He is one of the fittest people in the Industry.

Samir Thapa:
Outdoor Leader Samir (Sanu) has years of experience in outdoor adventures in the Himalayas. He has organized many trekking trips for charity groups from Europe and America. He is also a ski and map reading instructor and has organized many trips in the Alps.

Khim Thapa:
Expedition Leader Khim is another of our experienced expedition leaders. He has lead many expeditions in the Himalayas and in Europe. His career high point was when he led the Gurkha Extreme Expedition in 2004 across Greenland in 32 days. He has also done 6 marathons in 6 days in Ascension Island and has canoed from Bristol to Westminster in 4 days. Khim comes from the western hills of Nepal and is a Structural engineer by profession.

Umesh Shrestha:
Outdoor Leader Umesh is very new and although he has been in the industry only 4years, he is a qualified mountain guide, river guide and trekking guide. He is also a second year undergraduate student, studying commerce. 

Khem Thapa:
Outdoor Leader Khem is also a product of Kazioutdoors and has only been in the Industry for 4 years. He has a mountain guide’s certificate from the Nepal Mountaineering Association and is also a qualified river guide. He, too, is a student of commerce at Tribhuwan University.

Bikash Gurung:
Bikash is one a handful of anglers in Nepal. He has organized many fishing trips throughout Nepal, owns a chain of restaurants in the Kathmandu Valley and is an extremely friendly person.

Ishor Thapa:
Administrator Ishor is the younger brother of Khil and is studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Education. He is the city tour guide in the valley and also deals with all the ticketing of international and domestic flights, and bus ticketing.

Namita Khadka:
Administrator Namita has been in the travel business for 7 years and has worked with Qatar Airlines and Gulf Airlines. She is a final year MBA student and helps with all ticketing issues.
